Bio

Lowell 'Wolf' Stadelman began in the U.S. Army where he became a HALO-qualified Special Forces Master Sergeant in just 16 years, serving as a communications operator in 1st SFOD-D. After 18 years of field and combat experience, he was reassigned to develop new technology requirements, eventually working with Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, AeroVironment, MIT, Stanford, and UC Berkeley.

After leaving Special Forces, Wolf became a Program Manager at Raytheon's Advanced Programs, where his inventions were adopted by DARPA, ARL, and other government labs. He has applied for four patents and launched three technology companies.

Athletic Accomplishments

Competitive endurance athlete. Completed two full-distance Ironmans and finished in the top 7% of all competitors in 2013. Peak running events include two half-marathons under 90 minutes — top 2% of all competitors. Claims a 160-mile bike event in 9 hours, and ~40 hours of training in an 8-day cycle while preparing for Ironman Arizona 2013 (108+ miles running, 249 miles cycling, 25 km swimming).
